So many of you tell me this blog is the NEXT BEST THING after the invention of internet! LOL I am glad you like it, let's just have you participate more shall we?
Here's another comment we've received:
Please try to refrain from NEW instructors using the same music but changing moves completely. Can get different music for her moves. Confusing to people learning.Well, this is only common sense. I agree that it is not beneficial for any of the students to be exposed to 1 song with 3 different steps, that's just confusing for ANYBODY. So if you are the one who made this comment or if there is anybody else who feels that instructors are doing this, please email me and let me know who.
Now if by "changing moves completely" you mean slight things like hands or not turning when usually you turn, and things of the sort...that's only helping your brain. As you evolve as a student you need to be challenged so that you can get better and this cannot happen if you are exposed to the EXACT same routine EVERY TIME. So let's just leave it at "we do it because we love you."
What do you guys think? Is this still an issue for any of you? After all you are the ones exposed to this so LET ME KNOW :]
Yours Truly,
DianaN.
I'm in favor of the instructors changing the routines a bit to suit their individual styles. I'm also in favor of the newer instructors resurrecting the older choreography which would give a lot more variety from one work out to another. While I love, love, love the more recent songs, its also great to go "retro".
ReplyDeleteI love when they change some steps! Sometimes that tweak makes you sweat and feel your muscles better!
ReplyDeleteAs you said, little changes are good to challenge your mind and body. Have fun and enjoy. It is not just fitness, it is fun, party time. The music and people in the studio are just fantastic that is way all of us keep going to join the best crew in the city. Take the variations as a little bit of extra salt and pepper in our routines. ;)
ReplyDeleteTo the "retro" comment, Thank you, that definitely helps us know different ways that we can please all our students and we will keep that in mind.
ReplyDeleteYES! We are ALL about adding salt, pepper, rosemary, and many other spices to our company! ;]
And let's not forget we always want to make your muscles feel better...after the pain of being sore, of course LOL :]
