New Studio!

As you all know, we will be moving to the new studio all the way downstairs, right in front of Auntie Anne's.  We will be there starting June 1st and just as a warning, our credit card machine might not be up by then BUT I will let you know as soon as we know.  Now, let's go back to some of your comments:

My comment is more a recommendation and is put some recycle bins for empty bottles.  Thank You.
We had this when we first opened the studio, one of the black trash cans had a sign saying that it was for empty bottles but people kept missing the sign somehow and I ended up sorting through the trash.  This, however, will be fixed by getting big, blue trash cans that scream "recycling."

We need the abs class more-maybe a weekend class.
I believe this has been addressed :)  We have Diego teaching the Sensatoning classes during the week and Sundays at 12pm.  How do you guys like those classes by the way?
Sensatoning and Body Toning are the same thing, the only difference is that Body toning is ONE HOUR long and Sensatoning is 30MIN LONG.

Keep the comments coming guys! :)

Yours,

DianaE.

  1. Hello - are the pieces of tape that are on the floor supposed to be markers for people to stand on? I thought so because they are stacked, but I don't think folks get it. There are people who are just all over the place with their spacing.

Another thing about spacing - the people who are in the front row, right behind the instructor are always like FIVE feed behind the instructor, thus cramping everyone else in the back. I say, if you're in the front, you have the confidence to be in the front with the instructor, not 5 feet behind.

  2. Oh no, those are for the Kids class only. We'd have to measure it more precisely for the adult classes and we MIGHT do that in the new studio.

We prefer the front row to stay separate from the instructor since the instructor need that front space to move all along the front row of the class. I am curious, in which classes have you seen this? Because every time I look I see the front row all the way up there. Let me know so I pay more attention and balance that out. :]

  3. I think the tape markers would be a great idea in the new studio. I've seen wasted space in classes and I've also seen/been cramped by people squeezing in between people. The stagered markers also help maximize the mirror space so we can watch our form and intensity so the instructors don't have to interupt class to correct us. You all are doing a great job running the studio and I am bitterly happy for your success... I miss being able to arrive 10 minutes before class like we did years ago.

  4. Today I went to zumba at my new gym and unfortunately I knew all the songs...the teacher had clearly stolen all of sensazao's old songs...she had the nerve to call "shake it" her new song. Not sure what to do about it, but I wasn't happy about it. She wasn't even good, I think I could have taught those songs better than she was (they were all the old ones on YouTube...she cut out all the hard moves).

  5. The tape markers are definitely something we will consider. Hopefully with a bigger studio, you won't have to arrive so early. Thank you, we try to do our best just for all of you.

Unfortunately, we cannot prohibit others from using our choreos but I am sure you, as one of her students, can let them know that it's clearly not her work and it would only be right and respectful to give credit to us. It's no big deal since all of you know where the choreo comes from originally and that's all we care about. But thank you. :)

  6. Please update the class schedule. I did not know there was 4pm and 5pm classes until it was mentioned on a tweet. Thank you!
