Sensathon 2012 & more!

First of all let us start with our Zombie Apocalypse Sensathon coming up this November 3rd! If you have your tickets from the previous Sensathon that was rescheduled please pass by the studio and exchange them with the new ones ;) Enjoy the following video with all the information and details, feel free to share!  The link will open in a new window.

Second we'd like to remind you all the importance of November 1st, 2012:
Exciting announcement.  You asked and we listened!  No more expiration dates!  Beginning November 1st we will make a full transition to the key card system.  This way we can offer the same great deals with NO expiration date.  Please note, on November 1st we will no longer be using paper cards but we will honor your existing paper cards until they run out.  Please share this information with all friends and family that attend our studio and may not be subscribed to our Newsletter.

Now some comments we've received:

Please, please, please start (and end) class on time.  Please respect us and our time we make for exercise.  Otherwise - I LOVE YOU GUYS and it's the best and most fun workout I ever did!
Dear Kathy and all loyal students of SDFS that have the same concern, we sincerely apologize you feel disrespected however I would like for all of you to keep in mind the following that applies to evening classes as well as weekend classes:
Our schedule does not allow us to keep our classes one full hour so these classes and any other that comes after a class (including the ones after Sensatoning) are bound to be 50min-60min long.  The reason is because we need time to empty the dance floor completely (we can only do this so fast as we don't want to "hurry people up or kick them out") and then we must call the numbers in an orderly fashion (and I know some instructors do not do it properly so my apologies).  This also applies to post-Sensatoning classes  because our instructor has to get ready for the class after in addition to collecting his/her own numbers.  I hope you guys can understand this but if the classes are less than 50min. please immediately let me know as that is unacceptable.

Second comment:
I wish you'd bring back the 8-9 Friday class
As you all might know, we tried this and not long ago we were forced to close it again as we didn't have enough people.  I do not think this class will be coming back but perhaps the third time is the charm.  Whenever we do attempt to bring this class back please make sure you get friends and family and then perhaps we will keep it this time :)

And we will end it here to keep it short and sweet ;) As always, thank you for taking the time to read this blog, we look forward to seeing more of you as Fall starts with a warm touch and feel free to open your mind (politely) to express concerns, comments, etc.  Have a great weekend and see you all at the masterclass tomorrow Sunday at noon!

Yours,

Diana Espinoza

    1. As painful as that would be for me in the AM, we'd love to! The only problem is inconvenience for you guys, let me explain: The mall opens at 10am (officially) so all willing to attend these early morning classes would have to:
Sign up at least two days before so we can send a letter to security/management to let them know who will be coming out of mall hours.
Bring proper ID to sign up at the Public Safety Office.
And finally sign out at the Public Safety Office when leaving.
You see our frustration? BUT should we ever have our own studio somewhere else where we can only follow our own rules then you can definitely bet we will have some earlier AM classes :)

  2. Hello guys ! Good you have this blog. I do zumba for almost 2 years now and love it. It changed my life. I always practice on your choreographies on YT. You are amazing. I live in Montreal, but if ever I go to Washington, I will attend one of your classes. Keep up the good work and continue to make us dance and have fun !

    1. Hey Nancy! Thank you so much for your support!
I would like to take this chance to clarify that Sensazao Dance Fitness is in NO way zumba or related to zumba. No hard feeling towards it at all, by the way, since we have plenty of instructors like yourself that kindly spread our Crew's talent by using our original choreographies all around the world. But, to be clear, we do not use any material from zumba: not their music, not their choreographies, not their instructors. With that said, once again thank you for your support and we definitely hope to see you once day here at our Studio or perhaps in a master class in your hometown?! How cool would that be! ;)
