Quick Ones...

Hello gorgeous readers!  I decided to tackle some simple comments with this post so here they go:
Awesome Class as always.  Stagger the classes:  For example: 6:00pm; 7:10pm, 8:20pm.
Alright, I understand why this would be helpful and I would agree.  The only problem is that the mall officially closes at 9pm and even though we stay a little longer, we cannot abuse that by making the class longer.  At 8:50 the security officer on duty usually passes by to remind us that we only have 10min or so.  But it can be considered if you would all like starting the classes earlier.  Let me know.

Second comment:
You should sell earplugs.
Well that sounds only reasonable.  I will find some and we will surely have them at the studio sometime soon.

Plain and simple for this post.  I want to thank all the people that have been giving us their input on the instructors.  I ask that you keep them coming!  They have been useful and we want you to know that they are and will be used to improve ALL our instructors.
I hope that the classes have been better as in everyone's personal space has been respected.

One thing I want to let you all know:

  • If ANYBODY does something disrespectful to YOU in a class at the Studio, PLEASE come tell me, Diana.  Approach the front desk when you can and show me who it was and what she or he did.  I will talk to them after the class ends.
Well you guys have a GREAT beginning of the week!

Yours,

DianaN.

  2. I agree w/ the stagger the classes suggestion -- only because classes are starting TOO late. It's annoying because we already have to be there early to get in. I appreciate that instructors go five or ten minutes longer to make up for it, but I don't always have time to stay late. Please try to start on time (which would be easier w/ staggered class times). Thanks! Keep up the great work!

  3. About the air, we are truly sorry guys, but we have no control over it. We have fans and those only help so much. The mall controls the central heating and they can only do so much as well. We will keep trying to improve that though so we thank you for your patience. :]
And yes! you are right. I agree that staggering the classes would be convenient for us and for you so I will talk to the Crew and see what we can do about that.

  6. Selling earplugs? Sensazao Management, seriously?

Not being mean or rude here but that says a lot about some students going to the studio with such negative energy. I feel embarrassed for the management selling such things because some people just can't understand that to dance we need music, it's a big place, we are a lot of people, so we need loud music.

I will make this clear, I know there are HEAVY reasons for some people requesting earplugs, but use common sense: If you have auditive problems, why going in the first place? If you get easily irritated by loud music, why dance fitness? Loud music is not a caprice, it's a necessity, helps getting the beat and following the choreography and most of all gives you energy, most of the students will agree with me.

Now, the question is, can they dance or learn the steps following the right rhythm using earplugs? Go figure.

Other than that, management, you are awesome for taking such requests in consideration and having the patience to read this comment LOL
Keep up the good job! ;)

  7. Thank you, you could not have worded my thought and opinions ANY BETTER.
Whenever someone complains about the music, I should print this comment and hand it to them, hahaha!

    Thank you!

  8. I wanted to compliment the Sensazao Crew/management for handling comments/complaints with grace. I started taking this class 4 years ago with Jazmin at Fitness First when there was 7-8 of us in the class. Because of my work schedule sometimes I could make it otherwise I would have to wait for the following week. I am thankful the class is available everyday now and have enjoyed taking the class with each instructor. This class is my stress reliever so I don't care if you do every step perfect as long as it stays fun! The overcrowded classes were a little intimidating but I also enjoy the energy. Your all doing a terrific job and appreciate your passion. My heart and lungs thank you for the fun and challenging workout!

  10. Rude comments regarding people who wear earplugs. It has nothing to do with how they follow steps or enjoy the class. Music at that level is damaging to everyones ears and the use of earplugs just helps prevent some damage. Don't hate on people that are tryig to protect their precious hearing. I am surprised the management agreed with the comments written above.

  11. I believe I am entitled to my opinion, specially in a blog that I am writing since my only intention is to be honest to all of you while still being polite and considerate.
I try not to publish any rude comments, but this is a place for all of us to know more about each other as part of this company that is just building its foundations.
In order for me to be better at what I do and for this company to be better as a whole, we must learn how to hear the good and the bad. I, by no means, hate on people that want to protect their hearing and that is why we have earplugs for sale. If other people do hate, then they have the right to say so. If anyone EVER shows that hate here at the studio, please let me know and I will take care of it as best as I can.

  12. I was wondering if Jazmin is teaching again or at all? She randomly showed up to help teach Gabriela's class but I haven't seen her since. Everyone is awesome! Just haven't seen any Jazmin updates! Thanks!

    1. Sadly, Jazmin is currently not teaching as she is living in Brazil. When she visits though she tends to co-teach with either Gabriela or Diego randomly. She is scheduled to visit the U.S. again for the Zombie London Olympics 2012 Sensathon on November 3rd so you can bet she will be teaching some classes around that date. Thanks for visiting and contributing to the Blog! :)
